The Drakensberg Mountains

The Drakensberg Mountains are located between Johannesburg and Durban and on the border of Lesotho. The Drakensberg offers a wide variety of hiking trails, both for novice and experienced hikers.
If you have no need to take a walk, you can explore the area by car through the Sani Pass route. With the Sani Pass route you will cross the border of Lesotho. Because it is a dirt road, African Safari recommends you to use a 4x4 car. The border crossing of Lesotho offers a beautiful view over the Drakensberg Mountains here you can also have a drink in the highest pub in South Africa.
