The Robertson Wine valley is located in the province of Western Cape of South Africa and is located more towards the interior of South Africa. You can enjoy a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon or a Sauvignon Blanc. The Robertson wine valley exists out of several villages. The village Robertson is the most well known village in the area, probably because the popular Robertson winery.
The village has a rich history and exists since 1853. The village was first a centre for ostrich breeding, but after the First World War the village started to focus on grape cultivation. A visit to Robertson is highly recommended if you want to relax with a glass of wine, but also want to get acquainted with South African culture!
